Manifesto

CAPTA is a collective of photographers, reporters and editors founded with the intention to use photography as a tool for documenting and presenting the intricacies of life. The purpose of the collective is to work on long-term projects and current issues and foster a personal approach and broad visions of photojournalism. Through the work of its members, CAPTA aims to document society, starting from the narration of multiple realities. The collective believes that photography is an essential and effective tool to develop visual storytelling projects in order to preserve and raise consciousness. Through passion, commitment, and research, CAPTA aims to pay tribute to the art of photography while using the varied experience its members have gained working in the field for over a decade.
