CAPTA is a collective of photographers, reporters and editors founded with the intention to use photography as a tool to raise consciousness in order to preserve a personal and extensive vision of photojournalism. Through the work of its members, CAPTA aims to document society, starting from the narration of multiple realities. The collective believes that photography is an essential and effective tool for documenting and understanding the intricacies of life. Through passion, commitment and research, CAPTA aims to pay tribute to the art of photography while using the varied experience its members have gained working in the field for over a decade. The purpose of the collective, therefore, is to work on long-term projects and news issues, in order to counteract the reduction of spaces and investments dedicated to photography.
